The UK’s Best Sleep Apnoea Home Study
Our home sleep test provides a quick and affordable way to confirm Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) at home.
Our WatchPAT detailed home sleep study provides accuracy comparable to Polysomnography (PSG). A method used in hospitals and sleep clinics for in-depth sleep analysis.
How does it work?
The WatchPAT device monitors your blood oxygen levels, heart rate, body position, body movements, snoring intensity, and Peripheral Arterial Tone to determine breathing disturbances.
The simple-to-use and comfortable device collects data to give our sleep professionals a clear picture of your sleep, for an accurate result.
Why choose the Sleep Apnoea Test?
Fast Results: Each test includes free UK delivery, and once you finish the sleep study at home, you get the results in two working days. This way, you can start treatment as soon as possible.
Best Alternative to a Sleep Clinic: The device offers testing accuracy comparable to sleep tests conducted in hospitals and sleep clinics. Many people choose our test as it requires no waiting time, no time off and no queue for treatment.
Confidential: We do not share your results with anyone but yourself. Should your Sleep Apnoea have impacted your ability to drive, we can provide a letter to the DVLA if you start treatment with us.
Convenient: The test’s simplicity means you can easily conduct it from the comfort of your home at a time that suits you.
Clinically Validated: The device is the most clinically validated Home Sleep Apnoea test in the UK. Its findings align closely with the gold-standard diagnostic tool utilised in sleep clinics. Our in-house NHS-qualified sleep professionals analyse each test and provide a detailed report within your results.

We offer over ten years of experience, are members of the ARTP and the BSS professional bodies and are in the process of gaining IQIP certification.
NHS Trusted: We are an official NHS contractor helping NHS patients diagnose their Sleep Apnoea. This reduces waiting times and fast-tracks treatment.
Environmentally Friendly: The rapid WatchPAT device is recyclable due to Itamar’s Green Program, which means you can dispose of the device sustainably after it’s used. Similarly, users return the standard device to us after use, as it is reusable.
Which test option is best for me?
We offer two Sleep Apnoea home tests – Rapid and Standard. Both sleep tests are the same in terms of price and accuracy.
The Rapid test provides results earlier than the Standard test because the data is transferred to us via your smartphone. Rather than waiting for the device to be posted back to us for data download.
Before ordering the Rapid test, please ensure you have a compatible smartphone. You can download the WatchPAT Apple app or the WatchPAT Android app.
Don’t have a compatible smart device? No problem—you can order the standard test. Your results will take a little longer to arrive, as you will need to return the device to us.

Can anyone take an In-Home Sleep Test?
Our At Home Sleep Study services are only available to people aged 18 or over.
We also recommend not taking this test if your BMI is 45 or above. Any treatment will likely need to be overseen by a specialist, which is a level of care we cannot provide. Instead, we recommend discussing your sleep symptoms with your GP as soon as possible.
Do you use a CPAP machine? If you are an existing CPAP user, it is advised to pause using your therapy for five days before taking a sleep test.
What happens after I receive my results?
A confirmed diagnosis of Sleep Apnoea is required to treat the condition. In that case, we will make recommendations for suitable treatment options based on the data recorded, the medical history you provide, and the assessment of the sleep professional who analysed your test.
We provide all of the clinically proven treatment options, including CPAP therapy, positional therapy, mandibular advancement devices and more. It will provide detailed information and advice on your suitable treatment methods.
What is the cancellation policy?
This service commences upon the dispatch of your Sleep Test kit; therefore, it cannot be cancelled. If any tests remain unused, they can be returned; however, refunds will be limited due to expenses already incurred by Intus in the provision of the test, regardless of it not having been taken.
How many nights is a home sleep test?
We use the WatchPAT One test, which uses advanced algorithms to diagnose Sleep Apnoea in just one night.
Unlike our revolutionary WatchPAT device, other testing options may require two nights of sleep data, which typically reflects older-generation sleep testing technology.
